CX cargo having problems?

Air Hong Kong has deployed one of its ten A300-600(F)s into service for Cathay Pacific with effect from Friday, June 12.

Sources have informed ch-aviation that the freighter is currently used on a weekly Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok-Taipei Taoyuan service though this will graduate to a twice weekly service with effect from July 7.

Alongside its ten A300-600(F)s, Air Hong Kong also operates three B747-400(F)s all of which are used on cargo flights for and on behalf of global logistics giant, DHL Express. At present, the carrier's route network spans China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand.
Crewing problem perhaps?

No money in freight?

Find someone who knows one of our cargo staff colleagues. I did, and the staff know the truth - They have missed so many opportunities due to lack of crew, it's not funny.

This came directly from a (non-pilot) CX staff member working in the cargo office, who has nothing to gain or lose by making the situation sound better or worse. It was purely a statement of fact from their day to day work.

I wonder how many of our freighter crew are on long-term unfit for duty due stress, fatigue etc because of their crap rosters. Anyone know?
