Interesting, don't see how the Mexico City to Hong Kong portion could be flown non stop though.


Not with departing from a 7,300 foot elevation runway, they must be planning a stop, LAX perhaps ?

Not official yet. Just some anonymous hero blabbing to the press what he thinks will happen.

BCN is probably true. Though I trust the A350 will end up on that one.
MEX, I'm not sure. Tag along through YVR perhaps, on the 77G...

Now the $20 question: Who will crew all these flights?

Yes we'll go direct Mexico City under a variation being sought called Uber Ultra Long Haul, with four pilots rostered. The two operating pilots will be allowed to take simultaneous controlled rest while the other two pilots are in the bunks. There will be a requirement for a flight attendant to be sitting in the cockpit to wake one of the sleeping pilots should she feel any unusual accelerations.....
