Cathay SO Interview
has anyone been through the direct entry final so interview as of late? Any changes to the typical gouge out there? What are their hiring plans? Are they finding pilots?

Yes ok, i should say "transition".... Seems lots of abnito cadet type interviews going on but not much as far as transition folks, is this correct?
They have only recently opened up the applications for outsiders.

To Natca
Natca,
I'm on the same boat, I'm invited for a fast transition program by the end of the month and the only gouge I found are outdated (2007).
I highly recommend to the others people on this thread to either help or move on instead of polluting with BS stuff as: "blabla do you research..." or "blabla CX is crap..."
Do you have a date for the interview?
Appreciate

Dario. You are a piece of work mate. You may find the 'blablabla CX is crap' comments frustrating, but you would do well to listen. Or, you can choose to just hear what you want to hear. Regardless, you will eventually find out the truth...the easy way or the hard way.

My first grammar police reply, but it seems fun!
Dario540, don't worry about the interview mate. I'm certain that your resume has as many errors as your post.
Try a regional carrier back home.
Natca,
I'm on (in) the same boat, I'm (I've been) invited for a fast transition program by(at) the end of the month and the only gouge I found are(is) outdated(,) (2007)(circa 2007, from 2007).
I highly recommend to the others(other) people on this thread to either help(,) or move on(,) instead of polluting with BS stuff as(like): "blabla(blah blah) do you(your) research..." or "blabla(blah blah) CX is crap..."
Do you have a date for the interview?
Appreciate (thanks, regards, cheers, etc.)

Dario, this forum, on which you and others are posting 'wannabe' questions is actually, to all intents and purposes, the 'Cathay is crap/bla bla bla (sic)' forum. There are lots of starry-eyed wannabes on the appropriately-named 'South East Asia and and Far East Wannabes' forum just 'down the road'. There, you can network with like-minded dreamers with the idea of getting into that big shiny jet.
Apart from your inappropriate posts, you seem to have problems picking up the 'vibe' of this forum and the intentions of others who post. From this and the lack of attention to detail with laying out your comments and checking your spelling and grammar before hitting 'reply', you may have a hard road ahead in being accepted, passing training, and getting on with your fellow crew members in what can be a very demanding environment.
Take this from a very senior captain within the company.
