How far will the HKAOA go?

I have been a casual observer of this topic for over 8 months now and residing in a "non-union" country can sympathise with the combatents.

Now we have pilot against pilot, name calling, insidious threats, division in the ranks and an amatuer poet in the fray. Would some one from the AOA answer me a simple question please ?

If 1677 pilots (backed by a powerful union) takes on a Government (in a democratic western society), two huge corporate Companies (TAA & Ansett) and the rest of the australian union movement who were not sympathetic to their cause. Causes massive economical and social disruption to the whole country by resigning en-masse and STILL COULDN'T GET ANYONE TO TALK TO THEM !

What realistic chance does the AOA think they have with an IFALPA recruitment ban?
