Who cares , if I have a cold or flu , or just feel lousy I will book myself off for a few days . If I go to the doctor they always book me off for longer than I would have taken myself. So if this is to be the new policy, Great ! The medical costs will spiral and I for one will take more time off .
If the doctor will only give you a few days off then go back again and again to extend the sick note I can see the doctors loving this .
In fact my back is playing up right now , perhaps it's time for me to see a doctor

"The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause of the accident to be the Captain's decision to continue the approach under adverse conditions while fatigued and medically unfit to fly. Significant contributing factors were a supervisory climate punishing flight crews for refusing to fly when fatigued as well as a climate which threatened to terminate employment when aircrew removed themselves from flights due to illness."

Blame it on the cabin crew, they have to come to work unfit.

Spoke to one who explained once you call unfit enough times you are requested to come in for a chat which explains the following...

1. You may not call sick for the next two months otherwise you advance to stage two of the threat and intimidation process.

2. You may only see the doctors at CX city.

Nice to see the HK CAD endorses these actions, perhaps the doctors at CX should get an understanding that should there be an incident they will be specifically named as certifying a person safe to be responsible for passenger safety.

CX city doctor: "What are you doing?"

Cabin crew: "I'm recording this conversation so should I have an incident I can explain that you said I was only eligible for one days sickness".
