Hmmm, this is a troubling development. For years I've been under the impression that to get monkeys, one should pay peanuts. Now I discover that, to get monkeys prepared to complete a task for what it thinks is adequate compensation, one should actually pay grapes, one of the more expensive items on the fruit and vegetable aisle at Park n'Shop!

The sad thing though, is that the monkey who was given the cucumber, although clearly not happy and making all sorts of fuss, continued to complete the task anyway.
