Haha, you're as bad as the press.
What is it now, about 200 cases worldwide? No human to human infection? Quick make some more PAs at the airport, get everyone to fill in a health questionnaire on arrival, monitor everyone's temperature.
People get sick and die all the time, 50 or so people worldwide is not really to the same extent as cancer or heart disease but no one is jumping up and down about that. How about the number that die due to pollution in Hong Kong each day, bet its more than 50.
Scary press headlines to sell papers, that is all it is. Don't play with Chinese chickens and you will probably be OK. Even if you do play with chickens you are still more likely to be killed by some other means than by bird flu.

What IS the issue at hand for us PPRnNers?
When the press starts blowing things out of proportion, as they usually do, people, governments and markets react regardless if the "threat" is real or just artificially inflated. If the press continues to make H7N9 a big deal, you can bet you'll see affects just like those produced by SARS.
Just an aside...
Let's get back to the "issue at hand!"
