It was mentioned a couple of weeks ago in an update. The outage is for 4 weeks and any tickets purchased prior to the outage are still useable, although only till their expiry , 3 months after issue.

I would never defend CX or Uncle Bob...but in fairness - this time (not compared to that "one time" when they introduced the iJourney) - they gave us ample notice.

Not a commuter, and now you mention it, I remember seeing it (in the flow of seemingly endless other info we are bombarded with).
I can be listed all right my MYIDTravel, just the ticket numbers issuance seems a challenge.
