The Ban

You guys have got it so wrong! Although i agree with your plight you are really screwing it up.
Nobody has given a decent answer as to why F/Os & S/Os are being upgraded and yet nobody else can replace them.
You guys want a fight where you dont lose any of your pay and conditions and you may even get some extra overtime as the pool dries up , sounds like a good deal to me.
At the expense of what, youg guys some unemployed who may never even fly again if they knock back a position , yeah lets kickem while theyre down it wont stop us getting commands or getting paid every month.
You blokes wouldnt know what it was like to lose your jobs and are to afraid to risk it now.
The only way to resolve the situation is to go on strike and shut them down until they negotiate and for as long as it takes.
Its simple really, otherwise CX will search the ends of the Earth for Pilots and may even employ from inside China you will never achieve anything from a ban.
If you stop the internal upgrades go on strike and it all still fails then i will support your ban otherwise if my son does not fly again after rejecting a position we will find a way as a group to sue the union for future loss of income ...
Its a pathetic mess and you have the balls to put out a scab list when you are too gutlass to go on stike yourself and risk your own jobs the company knows what a gutlass move it is and you will never achieve anything the way it is going .So put your own heads on the chopping block or go work somewhere else.
A ban will divide your crews not make a force out of them. Some new guys will already have friends and family in CX and will support them before your pissweak BAN.

Well I am being interviewed by CP very soon and they told me that if I was successful I could wait until the ban was over before coming to work for them.

Must agree w/Ramboflyer... Stop taking the salary and strike en-masse. Management get the message that you are serious instead of the pathetic stance you have taken. So they sack you. (Or they listen at last). Welcome to the unemployed (been here 8 months, house about to be reposessed, this is a lifeline, and frankg, it sucks WAY MORE than being pissed off that your pay cheque comes from a mean and nasty company).
