PPL school recommendation?
I am from Hong Kong and is looking to do exactly the same thing, i have failed final stage for cadet at Cathay and Dragon Air and is looking to have a final "GO" at it by doing a PPL over the summer. As i am 27 now, age is starting to go against me to be accepted as a cadet so a recommendation on a good school would be great !!! Thanks in advance

Here is some advise:
Forget about the ppl work on your English language skills, and increase your proficiency, i.e diction, comprehension. phonetics.
A un-vetted PPL is not going to help you get into a cadet program.

As a Brit ATPL and Australian CPL I would second Jizzmonkey about Australia, but I don't know the school he mentions. The training is comprehensive in good weather that varies a lot and you end up with a license that is well respected. I enjoyed my CPL in OZ.
And with the Oz dollar dropping a bit it is less expensive than it was.
