CX recruitment
Noticed this in another industry web site regarding CX pilot requirements for the coming year (200 SO's).
Quote:
For a start, Cathay - based in the former UK colony, now a special administrative region of China, for the past 66 years - recruits only second officers. And, unlike carriers in mainland China, which tend to offer expat pilots fixed-term contracts, Cathay "likes to be a career airline",

Actually, Cathay and Chinese carriers have more and more in common every day.
For example, as quoted above, looks like both will lie right through their teeth and tell you anything to hook you, no matter how far fetched.
Career airline? Tell that to the 49ers, or the 19ers, or the hundreds of FOs that have been bypassed without pay to make room for DECs and Retreads.

Wow Kelly, they've really brainwashed you too! What utter nonsense, the whole article.
