Real Time Roster
Why does it take 3 working days for the published roster to go live on Crew Direct? (note "working days", not 3 days)
The cabin crew can access their version of Crew List, and see the whole crew, including pilots, immediately, yet we need to wait 3 working days.
Our roster came out on Wednesday, and now on Saturday we can apply for jumpseats, but I can't look at my real time roster, or look at the crew list. How does that happen???
Yesterday, in his weekly update the DFO was touting what a great new innovation we have with the capability to email your individual roster in 3 different formats to your company email account. WOW! I'm blown away by the cutting edge performance of our IT department. Wake up Richard, this is 2012, not 1996.
How about putting it live on crew direct within 24 hours???

Maybe it's so the managers have 2 days before anyone else to line up their jumpseat requests with early emails and phone calls and intimidation. Hopefully everyone knows to give it a few extra days before approving any...
