Anyone know what's going on in hkg? " North Rwy closed due to A/c incident" ?

I got delayed by this. Burst tyre on landing, apparently. The problem was compounded by the Chinese then restricting traffic through its airspace to one flight every 15 minutes.

I believe it was an autoland. Sounds like they had Max Braking selected or maybe the parkbrake.

They aparently stopped between A5-A6!

There was a f**king thread that was removed ( to save face ) started to allowed those f**king nefarious d**kheads to vent their spleen at HKA. Now that it was proven to be a frquent airbus antiskid problem, all have gone quiet with nary an apology. Sick, retards ****ting where they eat!

What frequent Airbus anti-skid problem? Maybe in HKA but I've flown them (A330 and A340) since 1995 and this is NOT a recurring problem.
