watch Olympic opening ceremony in HK?
Is the Olympic opening ceremony on any local or now TV channel tonight?
So far I have not found it since SCMP only covers till midnight as does the now TV mobile APP.

The broadcasting rights should be with Cable TV in Hong Kong.
But maybe TVB Pearl and ATV World can broadcast the opening?
as they should have rights to broadcast 200 hours of the Olympic Games

Thanks chaps. Mrs D.B.er just back from uk.she was planning to stay up. Our internet in the marina not quite up to live streaming.
Pearl and atv world have live coverage at alternating wtimes throughout day, but lots of ads and talking heads. Often stop coverage a crucial moments. Pairs diving stopped as british pair about to make final dive last night

Not much different in USA
Too many talking heads, splattered coverage... and so many frigging breaks, i forget what I was watching..(but then that's Yanky TV anyway.).
Time shifted to stop other channels showing before they NBC show the event time shifted...maximize revenues, and give a flying fluck to the viewer.
In USA on trip, and bored with the bad TV coverage of anything remotely connected to Limpiks 2012... Can I be sued for using the O word.... glf
