Once again, this roster was generated on the 14th. Why not just publish the thing then? At least that way, when this latest I.T marvel unfolded, they could have fixed it, and still delivered the thing on time.

At various times today I have attempted to use intracx. At the very best after waiting many minutes for the page to load, I got the Flight Crew Home Page, but nothing beyond that was usable (Crew Direct, CFD, ENG ADD listing). Most times I couldn't even login.

Don't worry CH et al assure us that their present system is much more efficient than a proper computerised one, so can't possibly be a mistake or human error.

An award too far?
It would seem you can win only so many awards. Director IT is leaving us to pursue other interests. These must be pretty interesting "other interests" as he is going in 48 hours!!
I know that is the nature of the IT business, that once you signal your desire to leave, for security reasons it is instant. However, I also know that a less than amicable split is announced using the phrase " pursue other interests" and your desk is cleared for you and your passwords changed and you are escorted off the premises. What has really happened, who knows, however do not forget the old Cathay adage,
"A pat on the back is merely a recce for stab"
