.....we could really put the squeeze on and get some things done.
And the silence from the AOA is deafening. Now is the time to sit down with the company and have a serious chat about the way ahead. Enough is enough. The whole operation is becoming a joke.

For some (corrupt/wrong/stupid) reason, whenever the company tells the AOA that it must remain silent until the company says it can broadcast news and information, the AOA says, "Yes, sir" instead of "No."

If that means an end to "cordial negotiations," the AOA should say, "Yes, that's right, it does, so will you give into our demands or not?" instead of "oh my, we don't want you upset, dear leader, while we beg you to give into our requests that please you anyway considering all the hard-won gains we keep handing you in exchange, which you know you won't adhere to."

By the way, in these on shored places, all founded in UK law, just like HKG, they don't get to walk away. I'm no employment lawyer, but really...is it that hard to connect the dots, specially when Bully A needs the long-term cooperation, performance and employment of Employee Group P?

We are not starting Newark service as planned either, short crew there too ?
I would suggest it's a slot problem. Their desire to get even more NY flights suggests that there is money to be made in that market, so logically, they would probably slide the shortage onto other sectors, by canceling/combining regional flights as is already happening (eg. TPE, BKK, MNL).

Flying to a different airport in the same city is not the preferred option, as there needs to be a whole new set of contracts put in place - hotels, refueling, ground handling etc etc. Implies that there is enough money to be made that if they can't get another slot at the moment at JFK, it's financially viable to start a EWR service despite the extras.

Crewsunited and Skillet......SPOT ON!
Amused, when your garbage isn't collected and sits rotting outside your house, do you rush off to become a refuse collector or do you just complain to the relevant authority? Yep, thought so......

Word on the "Street" is that we'll be staying in the Manhattan hotel, so in effect, it is a different airport in the same city, you just cross a river.

Or, another way to look at it; when the garbage bin is full in your own house, do you put it out yourself or complain and expect someone else to do it?

Errr, hello, the bloody maid does that!!!!!
