Hong Kong Hotels

In HK for a couple days and am looking for reasonably cheap hotels to stay? I know it's crazy expensive but any secret sweet spots would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try The Salisbury - YMCA. Right at the bottom of Nathan Road in Kowloon. Easy access to everything, and dirt cheap by Hong Kong standards!

If that doesn't work, almost all hotels will offer industry discount as long as it's not a peak booking period.

Have fun. Try to stay out of Neptunes and Escape in Wan Chai.......

If you have a China visa, the hotels in Shenzhen are in the 60-100 USD range, the hotels ih HK more like 240-460 USD (This is high season).

MTR takes 30 minutes and a ticket is 20 HKD (3.50 USD) if memory serves.

Try the Luk Kwok Hotel, just opposite Neptune 2. Good location and reasonable price. The standard rooms are small but you can pay extra for a larger room.

I'll second the Luk Kwok. Well within staggering distance of some great night life.

Alternatively (if you're willing to stay 25 mins train ride out of town) there's a few very well priced airport hotels. The Sky City Marriott is excellent.

Holiday Inn Express in Causeway Bay isn't bad. If you don't mind being in Sheung Wan, the Wharney is fairly cheap too.
