Boeing urges airlines to save paper, space with iPad charts
Boeing says the time is right for flight crews to move away from printed flight plans and charts to iPads to save on space and paper. "Nobody's yet pulled the trigger, they're trying to understand the value, trying to close their business case," said Sherry Carbary, vice president for flight services at Boeing.
