Insurance Coverage

Ladies & Gents

Where do we find the info for what is covered/not covered by general insurance policies.

Not talking about Medical/Loss of Licence.

'Bout when stuff gets pinche and so on.

What we're covered for etc, and the whole claims process.

Work for CX

Appreciate the help

HSBC - Police Report from HKG Police Also Acceptable...

Lost a laptop in the UK and the HSBC were happy to process the claim with a HKG Police report, made the report in the Airport, not sure if this applies to all HKG insurers though....

Re your HSBC policy...
I gather that was a travel policy only applicable when away from HK and no good for use while actually in HK??

Your claim worked out okay?

Cheers

Larrikan,

yes, standard HSBC travel policy for outside of HKG, all went without a hitch or question. Paid to the full value of the Laptop if I recall correctly.

Best Regards,
