I watched this and listened very carefully. It sounds like a fake/muddled British accent. He's an American, No? I was like oh brother! I guess I will be eating my words soon.

One cannot stress higly enough, that when slouching in the 'Club' on a winged chesterfield chair, that a chap has to have the accent to 'fit-in' don't you know....

J.S. is an American, but university educated in the UK. In addition to that, he has been working with/for the British for his entire working life. Makes sense he has picked up a slight accent.
