Ok..... All Banks are C#NTS.
They all compete with each other here so all tax loans are the same if not very similar. Try BOC, BEA, and WING HANG.

HSBC at Kitty City ....... been using since a decade ago, easy to deal with and they handle all the paperwork inclusive getting an employment letter fm CX.

All you have to do is put your signature on the application form. Last year (2009) they offered 0% interest rate with 1.5% (one off) handling charges.

Thanks all for your replies.

For the HSBC at Kitty City...was that application approved for a HK non- resident?

Only reason I ask is they've not always been helpful to me as I am based.

I am not sure about non HK resident. Have a chat with them when you are in town. Besides the employment letter, what they need is a copy of HKID if you are a PR or a copy of employment visa + passport if you are a non-PR.
