Funny, how in 1999 the company was saying "we remain convinced that enough crew are prepared to help the airline through these tough times..." (quote from former DFO). I wasn't there during those days but it would seem that nothing has changed as we are still going though "tough times"!
How do they explain the several billions of US$ they have accumulated in the last ten years then?
Cathay doesn't go through tough times, because it's the employees who pay the bills when finances are tight.
Time for a major pay raise. Period.
