Calling the Illustrious Captain Toss: potential TV gig!

Captain Toss old chap, there is a thread running on the Aviation History and Nostalgia Forum, started by a BBC presenter looking for aviation heroes for possible TV coverage!

I noted that you had not nominated yourself on the thread ('m sure you would have if you'd seen it), so I've saved you the trouble. You'll be a shoo-in, and I am sure that they will dedicate a whole episode to your heroic self; be sure to post on PPrune when the broadcast date is known.

Looking forward to watching it and I'll certainly buy the DVD.

The last time I was on TV it was totally unexpected ....

I was doing some online internet fishing and I went to go and meet one of my new online friends.

Then all of a sudden Chris Hanson from NBC Dateline busted into the room asking me to "Take a seat" & "What was I doing here".

The show will air soon and I've called my lawyers - it was entrapment to the highest degree.

At least you had your 15 minutes of fame.

My dream was to star in this video:

YouTube - Back to 80's - Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance

I would have made a killing as the jester.

Thanks Ex C

Followed your link as I hadn't heard that song for years and ended up seeing a version from Turk (Scrubs).
