Avoiding / Reducing EFP

The Rostering Practices and OPS Manual states:
"18.1 Published Rosters will not be changed for the sole purpose of avoiding or reducing EFP."

But then theres an internal vacancy on IntraCX for ICM Executive - Crew Control, FOP which states one of the Key Responsibilities:
"Cross checking and adjusting crew rosters to ensure overtime payment of CX/KA/LD crew can be minimised."

So if you ever thought, "I wonder why that sector was changed to PX", now you know.

Interesting, but nothing new here. How many of us on overtime have had trips taken away for one reason or another to keep us under 84hrs. This has been happening for years, just like the blatent abuse of O days.

Simple... give PX duty full credit... it's the only way to stop them manipulating the system unfairly and start rostering responsibly... HKAOA needs to get onto this...

That would definitely change the bottom line on the freighter!

Make sure you call in sick to claim back the stolen overtime, and make sure you call in on a low hour month. That is the best way to get your money back.
