CAD 371 is entitled "The avoidance of fatigue in aircrews" and not "The elimination of fatigue in aircrews''. Even the title of the document seems to acknowledge that fatigue could be an issue.

The one to which you refer , I believe, was due to JFK's unreasonable expectation to maintain 180 knots to 5 miles or something like that..... Which, did result in late landing flap.... No big deal. I may be wrong.

So Richard Haul openly states in the press that fatigue is not an issue in our operation. Well I can tell you Dick that it is and will always be.

There are not many people that can leave the flight deck operation and fall into a comfortable sleep. This is not your bed at home in a perfect environment. It is a filthy dust ridden hole that is noisy, not ideal and shared accommodation.

I feel like crap at the end of long haul so get real Dick.

I wonder if our valued customers are aware of the other treat that we have to endure by way of split duties.

Imagine the PA as you welcome the folks on board with the announcement of
"Ladies and Gentlemen this is the Captain speaking, I started work 12 hours ago with a flight to Taipei and my crew were bussed off to the hotel for 4 hours sleep and here we are to take you as safely as possible back to Hong Kong. I feel dreadful and my eyes are burning and I feel like I have a hangover without a single drop of alcohol in my system. My crew will have done over 13 hours after we land at our destination. Thank you for your understanding"

Get real Dick, fatigue is a problem D'head.

Hi Goaty, OMG, I got the same call too! " Please, please, please, blah blah blah…oh you want rest for next flight, you don't want come early, why you not rested already (and I just got in before the black rainstorm hit!)? Help us please, please, please….."

So now it's roster disruption not a management f*&KUp with crewing, that would never happen. It would be nice to hear " The Management " give us a heads up on how they are dealing with this. Come on little fella, come out of your hole and let us all know.

Now, where was I, called about an hour ago, rest restarts at ….calculate, calculate, yep….can't do ****e until I am fully rested.

Good night all. Please don't call again.

I heard that before the descent, said ex744 STC verbalized how guys like him had to come to the 777 fleet to show the guys how to do it properly. You plonker, Rodney! Not so full of his own self importance now, hopefully!

That's a 5 on the "Toss-meter" ..... quality! I might use that one myself on the next briefing!

Ah yes, but 'Angel' C has got straightening out his crews on 'Sterile Cockpit' and 'Radio Communications' absolutely nailed...his NTC's are just riveting reading.
