Already? Way to launch a new service...

Anybody know why? I know the CC were pissed about the shorter layover, I wonder if it has anything to do with that or if it simply a broken plane.

Lots of roster changes and call-outs over the weekend in Hong Kong. That is fairly normal for the 7's weekend, and additional Reserve coverage is usually provided. However, this weekend seemed unusually chaotic.

One missed call from 2747 ++++ for me this morning, so they must have been really scraping the bottom of the barrel! I had a nice snooze-in, after double-checking that I was actually on a day off.....

We can' t be short of crew already!

3 more 744's back from the desert to CX-F... not Air China Cargo, was the word on the street last week............

Haven't flown anything other than a full freighter for months. Loads have never really gone away, and that includes eastbound from Europe.

Yeh I agree. On 5 of my last 6 freighter flights I have had more than 110Tonnes on board. The only one less than this was westbound from anchorage with 70T which is a pretty good load in that direction.

I guess there is money in freight! Maybe they will need some more freighter captains????

HKG-MXP is 4 times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Hence no flight on 30 March because it is a Tuesday.

The BCFs going to Air China are current in-service P&W ones so as they go, they will be replaced by RR ones currently stored so unfortunately not neccessarily an increase in our fleet.
