Anybody know when Delta start their service into Hong Kong? Is the service going to be daily?

Delta fly here daily already, since there is no such airline as Northwest anymore...or do you mean the new service starting this summer with 777-200LRs?

Hi geh065

I heard it was going to be a B777, I think, from Detroit. But not sure if it replaces NorthWest or is a new route.

Yes that is a new route with 777-200LRs from Detroit 5 times a week but I am not sure when it starts exactly.

. . . We'll be seeing more potato shaped, heavily rouged grandmas, just as at UA, strutting their Samsonites across the terminal.

Unless my eyes were deceiving me, when I deplaned from LAX this morning at 0730, there was a A330 in Delta livery at or around Gate 30-ish.

Delta are an airline at war with themselves....Northwest crew detest the Delta crew and visa versa....not a happy place.
