SLS's only 'legitimacy' is based on the voluntary support of the staff. That support (...and I realise the term 'voluntary' is questionable at best) is only as legitimate as the company's response to it's repayment. There should be no question of declaring a dividend prior to returning the staffs basic pay. To do otherwise would show contempt for the needs and expectations of it's staff and would assure that no further attempt at such a scheme would ever again be considered.

Geez you guys have short memories. They paid a dividend during the whole SARS end of the world ordeal as well. If you took SLS enjoy your extra time off and stop whinging. You could have always said no. Apparently 5% of the guys did. If you get the cash back you've had a good win.
