How about we stand up for our profession for once as say damn right we get paid what we get paid and that is for the public's safety, when planes start crashing then people can comment, until then you get what you pay for.

I don't give a s&!t what people think, if they want my pay go get a pilots license like we all did! Why should we be ashamed of our pay it's not as good as it used to be, we seem happy to let public opinion and the industry drag us down to the lowest common denominator

Our salary scales are available on other websites on the net. They are certainly no secret and for your info I do get housing!

Couldn't agree more. We must stop this 'belief' of being 'tried" by public opinion. The fact is (in North America) is most people do not have a problem with our pay packages....however it seems we continue to justify it....over and over and over again.

I think we need a reality check. Our pay maybe once was above average, it sure isn't any more. Every second class banker or buyer living in Hong Kong laughs about our package.
