So basically it's a shaft job. This is their way of giving us a paycut, pure and simple. As if our pay package was all that to beging with until we move to the B-scale. Now via indirect threats and manipulation they're demanding time off without pay, and trying to force us to take a paycut. Any one of us with half a brain accepted the freighter payscale as a way of getting to B-scale pax. Otherwise we would only use this job as a stepping stone to another. I guess that's what we're back to now... cx = stepping stone! I hope they don't again wonder what hit them when they start losing FO's to FEDEX and UPS again left and right in the future!
And what if you don't take the Cos.08 offer!?! All those who do will be on the pax side ahead of you and when you're done with your 3 yr. commit. , there are no slots available for you to take at the base you want! Stuck on the freighter indefinately. Except maybe if you want to move to HK.
They're trying to eliminate a bad situation of their own making by streamlining the work force out of the circus which it is now. But at the same time creating another set of problems that weren't there before.
