KA integration update

We will be transfering 2 KA Taipei service to CX, and will be announcing this shortly. The aim is to withdraw KA entirely from Taipei.

Due to the fact that we at CX are tight with our A330, we will halt our PEK and PVG take over for now.

KA A330 integration into CX is on schedule. Some CX engineering modification to KA A330s are underway and identical SOPs will be introduced by May.

We will be reducing a number of A320 flights. This bodes well with our A320 phase out project..

KA will indeed return two A330s this summer but they will be replaced by two brand new A330s from Airbus, so really nothing changes.

A320 phase out project ? I hear from Kitty City that fleet is performing very well. Blocking local competition, maintaining frequency, developing markets. A winner in the down turn.

But hats off to the crews who slave away in the back waters of China. I won't be bidding onto it. 36 hours off in HGH, NKG or CTU anyone ?

And Then, thanks for the only non BS post here.

Its a pity the worlds greatest fuel hedgers/freight price fixers could'nt improve their own business without completely ing another perfectly good airline. Why not just continue to cock up your own ?

PATHETIC

Another 'completely good airline' that has had to be rescued by CX three times in the last 15 years......

Does it matter?

We'll all be CX crew soon, one big happy family, so does it really matter?
The only thing that does matter is where you are on the seniority and/or redundancy lists.

The reason that we hold the engineers with such fondness is that they came to KA from mainly british airlines, were not tarnished with the KA smug n serious brush, and didnt take themselves too seriously, unlike many an Airbus pilot in KA, esp those 320 trainers.
