End of HKG Rosters (CX)

So, what does the retirement of the Classic fleet have to do with HKG rosters? In the latest GMA report, it mentioned that as the reason that there would be no more new HKG rosters given to based pilots. Wouldn't they save the company money since they wouldn't have to pay out HKG allowances, and layover hotels? I was looking forward to getting my SMOG fix in the winter months!

You can still take a temp base in Hong Kong to get you "winter SMOG FIX".

I thought that temp bases were only for HKG-based pilots. Or maybe it's only for Pax guys. Either way, I'm probably SOL!

there are no temp bases on the freighter either.
all you can do is find somebody to base swap with for a few months.
