Latest GMA letter--BPP for based FOs to go

GMO has said BPP for those FOs on a base will be looked into and basically will be on its way out

It would be nice if they actually considered negotiating this forthcoming change in good faith rather than imposing some poorly thought out policy and ending up back in court.

When will they realise that only by negotiating rationally will they save themselves millions of dollars in lost court cases, not to mention the slight moral boost it may bring.

Sadly, they never have and they never will.

...and so it should!!!

If you decide to remain an FO and sit on the base, you should not be paid BBP.

Whether you personally agree or disagree with these guys getting the BBP, would it not be considered a reduction in conditions and therefore only be able to be part of a negotiated agreement?

I might be wrong!
