Recently was rostered to "PX" to go from SIN to HKG on CX. I was able to change the ticket to take SQ instead (I was just sticking with Star Alliance for miles, nothing against CX). Nicer seats, in Business Class there are only 4 seats across on the 777, however the ticket did cost about $500/US more with SQ.

This, then makes CATHAY PACIFIC a low-fare no-frills airline in Asia?

Some would say that makes CX a 'high fare - no frills' airline thanks to whoever is in charge of seat design updates!
