1) Commands from KA
2) Direct entry Captains
3) Direct entry FO's

What confuses me.... well not much does these days...

But why, when I do a search on the ASL on the 747pax and airbus list (all ranks and all basings), does the list show a few CN positions at the end of the list? Surely a glitch in the system?

The first two groups you mentioned are Freighter Commands. Have you applied for a Freighter Command? If not, do you have any reason to complain?

The 3rd group, DEFO's, have always been allowed for in the COS and, to be fair, the company have always been up front that they will employ them as, and when, they deem fit. It also fair to say, the company has been less than up front about paying BPP and it is hoped that will be rectified in the coming weeks.
