YVR-One dump to another
There has been speculation that some of our crew hotels, most of them the poorer ones, along with the awful 'food court' in CX City, are connected with a previous CX CEO of Singaporean descent, and/or his family...does anyone out there in PPRUNE land have first-hand knowledge?

The worst thing they did was to change the food court in CX city, I haven't eaten there since. Sadly they removed choice and replaced it with "maxims choice" which is somehow different.
I have boycotted 'Maxim's' for nearly a decade since the industrial 'unpleasantness' of 1999-2001 and also because of the swill that they serve there.
I would encourage all crew to do the same.

Cant be worse than the old hotel.....but if it is, ASRs worked when they put us up in that absolute ****ehole in Melbourne.....lasted about 6-8months there.
