Dragonair Cargo MAN Base Closure
KA Cargo Manchester Base is to close early 2009. The base will start winding down in Jan 2009 and full closure will be complete by mid year. As all KA classic freighters will be retired by Jan 2009, only 2 744's will remain. One will be parked and the other will be based on regional routes ex HKG. Crew will have a choice of transfer to HKG at current rank to take up position on the KA Pax fleet or Voluntary Redundancy Scheme.

The BOP devised by the CX City management spelt the end to MAN, not PS.
If you read all the notices put out by L2 you would realise this is where it came from.

Give the guy a break he's only just got his feet under the table. He didn't engineer the current financial crisis nor the CX takeover. If you talk to the DPA reps. they will tell you it was PS who pushed through our recent improvement in CoS.

To be fair, blame for this cannot be laid with PS. The demise of the MAN Freighter base was set in motion as soon as CX bought out KA. It was not a matter of if, it was a matter of when !!. So the only variable was the time-frame.

Sounds to me like the credit crunch is really getting to you, get a life and go and see the shrink, you need help! Try and concentrate on your own 'pot of gold' instead of management's, you'll find it a lot more productive.
Here we are with the MAN base closure announced possibly forcing many of our freighter pilots to move half way round the world and all you can do is complain about how much the GMO earns!

Looks like you'll be the easy one to spot in KA House, Krone, being the bright shade of green you obviously are.
You also have no concept of what went on with the freighter - the writing was on the wall long before PS took over and before RH had his spell too.
