Ok nice quality videos.

The first BA one? big deal he skipped a bit, wasn't that "funny" I love the comments on Youtube "he left the power on too long" Where they in the flight deck for that landing? How would they know what power he needed/had at the time.

The second, yeah strange touchdown but there appeared to be quite a breeze

the third, yep he stuffed up.

But any landing you can walk away from.

But I must ask, what is the relevance to Fragrant harbour of all these nice videos?

maybe you could show us the "crash bang at Wellington" video as well. Now that is interesting.

Confused

"waterski145" or is it "poydras" do you have a conversation with yourself as well? Which one of you started this "interesting" landings thread?

Well...nothing better to do down line....now that I am on a health kick.

No1.- Capt just off the 400 F/O conversion and instinctively flared early...but with plenty of runway had the sense not to chase it with attitude.

No2.- Gusty WX but lucky to get away with it as he chased the touchdown point with attitude and as Monarch found out in Gib...this can cause a problem with 757 nose gear. Don't know where it was but suggest a short runway was a factor. Got away with it and I hope he passed it off as an F/O landing

No3.- Carrier landing chasing an early runway exit ... good short runway practise well executed.

Sleepless in...where am I....argh meltdown capital of the world?

BTW...the more who join that AOA, the less of a mass debate we will have on pprune

Hello!

I'm only a PPL and the biggest thing i've flown is a PA28....But whats wrong with those 3 landings??

I'm sure if there were Italians on any of those 3 landings, then raptious(sp?) applause would have been given.

But then again, what do i know?
