Cathay Second Officer Interview

I have an interview with Cathay for the end of September. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for the first interview. I am an American and have done some research already. Such as what books are good to read and so forth. However Has anyone interviewed recently. I heard the interview has changed from a colleague who interviewed for a US based FO position. Specifically is there still a requirement to know the systems for the different airplanes in their fleet.

You got the wrong thread for the question, try the next forum down for Fragrant Harbour.

Anyways, all the info is in the search function of this website. Type in key words such as "interview", "DESO", "questions" etc in the Fragrant Harbour Wannabes search section and you'll have hours of good reading to start with, including what books and resources to use.

Good luck.

New DESO interview answers

Just tell them in the interview that you are keen to eat sandwhiches for the next 5 years and will be happy never to get a base back in the USA.

If you currently hold a fairly good job, dont resign from it. You are likely to regret such a move. Good luck with your decisions.
