thank you all of you. i hope they will not say that again. dyce is right, use standard rt will be ok, that CX pilot seems understand what she said althhough she sounds very harsh, it is difficult to non local pilot. i remember there was a very rude radar controller many years ago but now she works in the tower now.

Oh, if you know "him" on App you will have a good laugh.

Very entertaning but sometimes too cruel to pilots whose English is not so good.
I think somebody have a audio of him on the internet a while ago. 110% RT!!!

his main objectives coming into work are to order his meals, to tell people they are 'ho cho' and telling off pilots for saying the sqawk code!

Angry

Why do the tower controllers taking 1:05pm shuttle bus their TOIL is not deducted?!

Why do the tower supervisors NOT follow Coldman Directive!?

Jealousness or Justification

Please correct my English but do not alter the fact.

yat.kin.etc.....
First, your engrish velly poor. That is possible reason you will have lot of trouble getting a rating. Second, so what if they go 1.5 hour early . Jealous?????? I bet IF you ever get a rating and YOU are offered 1.5 hour early go,you will gladly take it .NO????? So , some good advise, as Cofuscious say, learn plopper engrish and maybe you can get rating.

Ah Wai,
Enjoy the benefit when you can and stop being so childish!! If our lovely management read your post, they will just simply cancel the 1:05 and 7:55 shuttle bus!! Or, they will put a desk at the exit, sit there and record everybody who leaves early!
I only get one day a month in the TWR. Do i care? and I often call downstair to cover for sickies anyway.
Childish? You use your colleague surname as your username and attack him in your post. Be a man, tell it in his face.

I thought we have a "No Blame Culture" in Hong Kong, how come the controller got the approach training (something affecting with the promotion prospect) suspended because of the incident in the tower.

O.K. it is fair enough to suspend the tower rating pending full investigation, but delaying her career advancement is not appropriate. We have something we call " the rule of law" here in HK; presumed innocence until proven guilty. we never know what the final outcome of the investigation will be, it would seem that the controller is already guilty.

If the approach training is really terminated, then it would be a huge waste of government resources. Mind you, we need 2 to 3 full time Radar controllers plus 6 to 8 Simulator Data entry operators to run an approach course for 5 students, for a duration of 3 months.

"No-blame Culture" should combine with "Accountability". both compounds should have existed in our environment, BUT, we don't have those yet. those who take care of safety tasks these words are just part of their facial cosmetics.

Watsup,

i do not see your English is good enough to criticize someone's English.
are you an English teacher or just a controller? lots of people are reading this thread, no one will be impressed by your criticism. manage your own backyard with your signboard rather than pointing to someone for this and that. respect someone's post rather than insulting.

if fatigue mistake occured is because her fault to say . STOP. I'm tired.
Never forget that every single second we travel 7o meters during approach.
