HKA Pilots don't get paid this month

Oh yes.. its true..

Mgnt may blame banks and the holiday tommorow, but the fact is cheques were due on the 28th and its now the end of the business day on the 30th and account has not been credited yet.

Singhaswine now saying saying money MAY show up on the 2nd.

Hmmm.. wonder if there is a money shortage

Least I can write in English.

If pay day is the 28th, then staff deserve to be paid ON or BEFORE that day.

Saying the pay is a few days late is simply saying "We have NO cash to operate properly",

Reminds me of 1993, whilst on layover in FRA.
Salary due on the 26th, and always has been paid on time, but this time, nothing by the 30th.

Called the headshed and spoke to the Colonel (retired AirForce Colonel now in charge of airline admin flt ops)

Colonel, what's up, why no salary?

Colonel: Standby I'll check on it.

(minutes pass) then...

"Captain, the expat financial guy went on leave and no one was designated to replace him to issue expat payroll."

What do you suggest, Colonel?

"The FRA station manager will hand you a salary advance in DMarks within thirty minutes, tops."

Result?
In exactly thirty minutes, the station manager shows at hotac with a bag full of DMarks....an entire months salary.

We both retreat to the bar for a good laugh.

On the other hand, with your particular situation, LeavingHKA, it might be the same?
Or, perhaps not.
Sincerely hope it's not the latter.

In their case it would be Malaysian Ringit most likely.. and again, as mentioned, they would actually need to have it. Not very likely for an airline losing 20+Million a month.

Angel Let Time Tell.....

This is a dead thread, for something so time dependent.
Let's just give it a day.....
Why even bother? he's just sour. Like everything that's written in each HKA-related thread, just a few junior puerile "know-it-all" involved.

Leaving / Left / Right / Wrong?

Sad pathetic creatures.

Our sympathies.

High Speed Pass
Your name suggests your obviously a snake that thinks flying fast means your a good pilot........the writing is on the wall for you, and for pilotinasia and cpahka.
You guys are the reason HKA is loosing $20 million a month. You have no idea of good operational flying.

Hope you enjoyed your short stay in Hong Kong. Good luck getting a job elswhere. Here's some advice.....don't go looking outside of South East Asia.
