cathay rostering of overseas based pilots
Just a query, and it would be nice to stay on thread here.
But does anyone now how cathay work their oversea's based pilots into their roster? ie A london based capt with a hk set of fo's? Or Australian based ones for example?

Generally 2 HK based guys will fly with 2 based guys so that the pairs can work together and better manage the rest with regard to time zone changes. However, over recent months, the European ULH routes have been staffed with any number of combinations. I think there's a shortage of FOs at the moment, but all I see is the end result, not the big picture.
