Thumbs up Emirates Payrise

Seems the Emirates guys/gals are in line for about a 25-35% payrise.

What are we CX getting- frustrated, appeasing the GMA, going nowhere.
What's our AOA doing about this?

We're good aren't we. 3% after 7 years!!

Emirates Payrise

Has the rumoured payrise got anything to do with the fact the EK has had just under 200 resignations in less than 2 years?

CX IS HEADING THE SAME WAY WITH THE RESIGNATIONS...Last week we had 2 more resign, we are now possibly looking at 5% turnover in one year. That is not including retirements

It is a rumour as there have been no announcements yet regarding either pay rise or bonus. I hope you are correct though.

Nothing seen on the middle east forum......

we dont need to smoke, it's already in the air here. It appears we are delusional in HK, or maybe people are talking up EK so they feel better about leaving HK? Just aswell they dont do random testing here, we would all fail.

25%.... It's a nice thought though....

From very high up, solid source

If it was middle management some of them are very solid

Take it with a very big dose of scepticism

Sticky Rumour

I have heard 42% - and that number has come up repeatedly over the last few months. The rumour has emanated from CX managers to other national carriers to new joiners to EK recruiting staff. Will be interesting to see what the final figure is! And whether Australian basings are offered!

Apparently CX wont offer a payrise until our turnover is 16% and we currently have 8% turnover.
