KA, CX and BUPA

Hello there,

I am on the KA freighter with the 'option' of going onto the CX freighter. At KA we are insured with BUPA (full cover for the whole family), paid for by KA. Does anyone know if something similar exists at CX (COS '08)?
Couldn't find out from the people who should know so far...

Thanks very much

There is no BUPA provided by CX, you can however join BUPA at your own expense. CX staff have what is know as Right Choice, part of AIG. It does not cover all medical expenses. (also known as wrong choice). If you have access to Intrax all info available there, or visit the benefits desk at CX.
I'm guessing from the above reply, some cx staff may have been given BUPA, but that must have been before my time and COS08.

Humber,

If you are on a UK base it is BUPA gold.

If you are in HKG it is Right hoice and if you have family over 18 you can cover them with BUPA hkg at a reasonable fee.

Sad and disappointing that 6 days after the time you were supposed to make a decision on your future, you have to approach pprune to find out essential information like that.
