Mandatory to use HK CAD logbook?

Can anyone point to either a CX or CAD document where it says in writing that you have to use the CAD official 82 HK$ logbook? I am happy with my own, but were told I am required to switch to the CAD version. Mine has separate columns for just about everything, including, PICUS, and separate sim pages. Even an open column, in case they want me to log something in particular.

For or against, I am mainly interested in something official in writing (nothing in the HK CAD order?), but also if anyone had problems using a non-CAD logbook even when going through conversion or upgrade.

Thumbs up

The regs state only that you must use an HK CAD approved logbook... which most logbooks are (approved, that is). I've used my old ones since arrival here without any questions.

Have used my UK CAA logbook since joining 11 years ago. No problems encountered at all.

No; this post being a question, which I suspect is the intent.
