SCMP Article on ATC vs Pilots
I see that Simon 'I have nothing else to write about so I'll write a stupid aviation article' Parry's article on Jan 20 still rates at the top of the 'Most Popular Articles' on the Hong Kong news page of the online SCMP. That's the one headed 'Airline pilots bemoan uncivil aviation'.
You can not really tell me that it is the most popular article after almost 2 weeks. I suspect it is a plot by the SCMP management (who looooove CX - well, their advertising dollars anyway) to give pilots a bad reputation in the public eye. Thoughts???

I can not believe that SCMP even publishes articles like that. That something like that can make page 3. Lets face it-it's all a load of rubbish-he's based his article on something he's picked up on PPRUNE!!??? And they call it journalism......

At long last at least BMM389EC gets it.
He says the SCMP article is all rubbish and based on something picked up on PPrune. That says all that has to be said about the content of posts on Fragrant Harbour - except mine of course.

SCMP function
I think we should all write to Beijing where the masters of the SCMP are, and ask them to print it on softer and more absorbent paper, preferably with perforations.............
