Delaney's in Tsim Sha Tsui usually plays the games. I watched a couple of Monday Night/Tuesday Morining games so far there. There's another Delaney's in Wan Chai, but I'm not sure if they'll be open that early for the game.
Go Pats (only because the Giants took out the Packers!)

Superbowl at Bulldogs

Superbowl will be on at Bulldogs in Lan Kwai Fong. I confirmed that last month with the manager. Get there early though; he said last year they had around 150.

(At the risk of getting lambasted again...)

Worth noting the Bulldog's LKF is a no smoking bar (unlike Delaney's), which may or may not be a good thing depending on your predilections.

In the good old days, Cathay pilots watched Rugby and Cricket. Superbowl, WTF? A changing demographic indeed.

I have played both rugby and football. I can tell you that without a doubt, football hurts a hell of a lot more when you get hit. The pads are not that thick and gives a false sense of invincibility. When a giant man that runs like an olympic sprinter hits you full speed, it's gonna hurt whether you have pads or not. Difference is, with no pads the guy might pull up a little, with pads it is full speed.

Usually, if your mommy did not want you to get hurt playing football in the U.S., you played soccer...

Rugby

Australian sports personality interviewing 6'10" American Football player, circa 2001:

Interviewer: "So, what do you think of Rugby Union?"

American: "Well, any game where it is a requirement to tape your ears to your head so they don't get ripped off is pretty tough!"

Absolutely no doubt it is tough. So is our "girly" rugby. Just get used to it fellas, we "bloody Yanks" are here to stay.

to all the Americans;
english is not my first language so I am trying to "analyze" the meaning of the word.
Why is that you call it football when you play with your hands 90% of the game? I think it should be changed to "handball".
The kicker is a smart guy. He makes big bucks for 5 kicks per game.I wish I had that job.

My personal favourite is Basketball.

Why they don't just start the game at 80 points each with 5 minutes to go I'll never know!!!!

Hey Waterski,

Ok, not literally like an Olympic sprinter but still pretty darn fast. I would call a 6'6" guy that can run 40 yards in 4.5 seconds a giant man that would certainly hurt if he hit you full speed.

I'm not saying Rugby is a bad sport by any means. I'm simply responding to the usual insults toward anything American around here.
