No.. if you really want to piss the girls off.... fly them into hillside.
Contract Compliance is political; you are putting your goodwill up for sale. There is a clear distinction between "goodwill" and "safety"..... to suggest otherwise is "mischievious" at best.
So are you saying if the AOA membership and company agreed a deal; you would then work any given G day? If not; why should NR make any concessions to you (or the AOA) resultant of your Contract Compliance?

If they took 14 hours to prepare my food I would be asking some serious questions.
We are not talking about a champagne buffet here, just two crew meals chucked in the oven for 20 minutes, and believe me chucked in is usually pretty accurate.
30 min of commanders discretion would not take the CA's into discretion anyway with their different FTL's.

Bloggs,
We are on different freqs and I'll agree differ...
Messiah,
We are on different planets... don't understand the relevance of your post to this thread. But since you raised it... CX 289 744 departing HKG 2345L. 4 Pilots all FRA based with over 30 hours rest in HKG, 16 cabin crew all HKG based. Flt time of 11hrs. Who has the most limiting FDP?

guys, i know it's difficult out there, but if we just do what they ask, don't you think they will leave us alone?? I know that they don't like us but if we just accept their offer and try to rationalise where they are coming from. i.e. profits, we will get much more respect....don't you think??
i, for one, don't mind working g days if it makes us closer to a pay rise. I have been here since 96 and even with all the crap, i could not get anywhere near this salary in south Africa. i will fly as much as the next guy,as long as they pay me but is cx really that bad??? i know at least 10 guys that would take my job for half the pay tomorrow, so I will keep my mouth shut and do my job, even if i have to work a little bit harder for now.....they will eventually realise that we are important and pay us more.Anyway stick together, and do not vote for our loser leader ST
