LON base

Thanks to everyone for all the info provided here. My question is regarding DEFO for a LON base. If one would accept that but really wanted a North American base what would be the chance of getting that within a year or so (provided an opening exists). From what I understand a change of base is possible in accordance with seniority on the same equipment or would it be more likely that a then new hire gets to fill the opening? Is LON easy to get because of the onshore company and resulting taxation? Thanks for your help.

The US is normally easier to get on the freighter anyway.
Let them know what you want, the tend to award on the passport you interview on (if you have two)

Change is possible on the same Type normally. There may be differences though if you are on the pax fleet and COS08.
