Future CX Routes

Currently, out of the US all flights on CX on the freighter or PAX side operate Westerly through ANC or vancouver etc. Does anyone here think that maybe in the future CX will operate EASTERLY across the Atlantic ie. JFK-LHR cargo or JFK-CDG-HKG? Just wondering if there has been discussion of this.

With VS' LHR-HKG-SYD service rights* was a reciprocal service for CX to fly trans-Atlantic LHR-JFK. CX has chosen not to exercise this option at this time as the route is "marginally profitable and has little value-added appeal".
